Paddleboarding on Lady Bird Lake
For something on the water, visiting the Texas Rowing Center for a day of paddleboarding on Lady Bird Lake is never a bad idea. Located on West Cesar Chavez, it’s a great place to cool off after a long bike ride. If you’re more of a swimmer than a kayaker, look no further than Barton Springs Pool, the crown jewel of Austin. Enjoy the diving boards, grassy tanning areas, and tree covered trails by bike or by foot.

If staying inside is more your speed, a must check out is the Violet Crown Cinema. Located on second street, just above Malaga Tapas and Bar. With four hour parking validation, it's easily reached by car, but even easier by bike. Spend an evening at the theater and enjoy a full service bar, snack station, and luxury seating.
Visiting Zilker Playground
If you happen to catch yourself on a family bike ride near Barton Springs Road, it never hurts to stop into Zilker Playground. With slides, swings, and all of your kids favorite park builds available within steps of Zilker Park, there’s no better place to kill an afternoon. Plan a picnic, catch a ride on the miniature train, or dip your feet in the water nearby.
