The members of Mellow Johnny’s custom team have a combined 30 years plus of custom bicycle experience, they are the best of the best. Whether your interest is road, mountain, touring, or cyclocross, we can help though our partnership’s with Seven, and Parlee Cycles.
The biggest part or creating your dream bike comes from knowing when we should speak, and when we should listen. We’ll start with a comprehensive consultation to create a foundation through which your custom bike experience will begin. Only after we understand your vision will we set about to deliver a bicycle that merges the fit, performance, and atheistic elements you desire.
Once we’ve completed the consultation we’ll create a custom profile and bicycle development outline that will become the blueprint for the design and delivery of your new bicycle. We’ll compile information on frame build, to parts selection, fit/finish and more. This document will follow your bike through every step of it’s process, and be proudly handed over to you on the day of the delivery of your bicycle. Notes from your consult, fit, manufacturer blueprints, and pro build sheet used by our mechanics to build the bicycle will be yours. We’ll also send you home with a photo of your new joy, taken in our in-house photo studio.
Fit and Performance
It’s no secret that a bike that fits you best the the one that will deliver your dream ride. Whether that dream ride is cross-country touring trip, elite level racing machine, or anything in-between, the goal for your custom bike is merging fit, function and performance.
A custom bike isn’t just about custom sizing. Our custom brands were chosen because they don’t buy off the shelf material to build their bicycle frames. They hand select companies that can make material for them. This level of detail allows our builders to provide custom tuned ride based on factors like rider size and desired handling and ride characteristics chosen by you. The performance and fit doesn’t stop at the frame. We’ll help you pick components that work with your frame to deliver your dream ride.
